I see that it has been a while. So here are a few new photos to show you what I've been up to as of late...

At the end of May, I helped my friend Marti shoot her neice's wedding. Here are a few of the shots I got...

Then, I finally got the final shot for the Orchard banner done. This is for "sharing the love of Jesus with families." A special thanks to the Spencer family for letting me use them as models for this shot.

And while I was out at the Spencer Ranch...they let me take a few family photos. Including engagement photos for Steven & Hannah...

The Waters Fam

Project for the Orchard

This is a little project I am working on for the Orchard Church. The church's mission statement is "Sharing the love of Jesus in coffee shops, in livingrooms, and with families." So I have been asked to take photos of each of those things: coffee shops, living rooms, and families. So far, I've got the livingrooms shot done. Here it is...

During the shoot, I took a few shots of the Waters family (who is adorable by the way). These shots are not ideal due to the location...but I think they are very cute informal family shots. And I spend a great deal of time with this family...this really is who they are!!!

And of course, because I can't have enough kid shots (and because Zeke is a ham), I got a few of just the two kids. These 2 are my favorites. Do you see any similarities???

Matty and I just adopted a new kitty. Her name is Lily. She's very sweet and affectionate and I think she will make a great addition to our family. Here are a few quick snapshots I took of her this afternoon.

What I've been doing lately!

I've been really busy lately, so I haven't been able to post each time I've done something new. So here's a quick recap on what I've been shooting lately.

First is my sister's wedding. This was done back in Illinois. It was a nice cloudy day. It didn't rain. It was nice and cool. And it was pretty relaxed for me seeing as though I'm family.

Then came the twins for their 3 month picture.
And finally, Sandy. We fostered her for about a month and loved her like she was our own. We were both happy and sad to find her a home.

Spencer Family Ranch

These are just a few shots that I took for Mark and Mona Spencer to put on their website for their new horse ranch. Nothing too terribly special...but something I wanted to share.

Long Island Wedding

Wow! This is by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever had the privilege to photograph. Not only was it for good friends, but it was on the beach on Long Island in the Hamptons. I don't know what else I can say...you'll just have to look at the photos.

I think this image sorta sums up the day...

They had cute lil flip-flops that said "Just Married" on the bottom that showed up in the sand when they walked.

Sadie

These are a few shots from my session with my friends and their dog from today. They are huge Notre Dame fans and absolutely in love with Sadie. These are a few of my favorites!!

Parker Hayden

This is my best friend's 7 month old son. Hard to believe, because he's already in 12 month clothes. Regardless, he's freaking adorable. This first shot is my favorite. He won the Cutest Baby Contest at our hometown fair.

Addison

This is Addison, the newest addition to our family. After 2 months, we have finally found time to actually take photos of her. Imagine that, a professional photographer who can't even find the time to take photos of her own puppy. Anyhoo...we finally did, and here they are. And I must say, she is the cutest puppy in the world!!

What's Next

Ok...so my 30 (or 31) days have ended and I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. There has been talk of just keeping it up going on with Day 32. However, right now, my life is a lil too insane to keep this up on a day to day basis. It was hard enough to do it for 31 days. But I will keep this blog and make it my official Photo Blog. I may do another 30 days in the future. I may post once a week. Or I may just post whenever I feel like it. But I will do my best to keep something on this blog regularly. Oh, and I'm open to suggestions...

This is another engagement photo of my sister and her fiance'. The theme of their wedding is Kim Anderson, so we tried to do a "cover". Not quite like the original, but you get the idea.

Day 27 - Ethne Joy

Today Adam and Corrie Waters brought Ethne Joy Waters into the world. She was born at 5:05 PM and was 6 lbs, 14 oz and 20 and 1/2 inches long. Congrats to the Waters fam!!
